Art classes for children ages 4 to 18

At the Little Owl School we try to enable every family to create the schedule that fits its circumstances. Please select your preferred time periods as well as class type during registration. You may also discuss a particular art style, technique or subject matter with your instructor to include it in the curriculum. We always make a sincere effort to accomodate your requests!


Classes are held year-round, indoor and outdoor depending on the weather. The exact day, time, and place of class are determined by the school’s staff and parents.

Ana Savenkova-Moore teaches on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday 3PM to 6PM

Schedule and Payment Information

The school year is broken into terms. Materials fee is payed each term.

  1. Fall: September-October-November-December
  2. Winter: January-February-March-April
  3. Summer: June-July-August)

Art classes are organized into sessions. Registration and tuition payment are accepted for a full session.

  • A session consists of four (4) weekly classes and starts at the beginning of each calendar month.
  • Classes are taught once a week. A student may register for more than one session to attend more than one class per week.
  • Regular classes last 60 minutes including 5 minutes for clean-up.
  • Special classes last 90 minutes with a 5-minute break, or 120 minutes with a 7-minute break.

Tuition per Session (4 classes):

  • Group instruction (3 to 6 students): $80 minimum. Includes the cost of basic art supplies.
  • Individual instruction (1 or 2 students): $110 minimum. Includes the cost of basic art supplies.
  • Special classes outside of regular school hours: by agreement, $240 minimum
  • Scholarships are available if approved

Materials Fee:

Tuition covers ONLY basic art supplies such as paper, pencils, watercolor, and poster paint. To use oil paint, canvas, clay, and other advanced supplies please pay materials fee.

  • Materials fee: $25 per child per term

Additional Costs (based on usage):

  • Framing: $25 minimum per artwork framed by the school (materials and labor)

Program Policies

Online or paper registration form must be completed before your child can attend class.


Tuition payment for a full session is due at the beginning of each month. Payments accepted are by check or online, we do not accept cash.


Materials fee payment for use of oil paint, canvas, clay, and other advanced supplies is due at the beginning of each term.


Instructors require a 24hr advance notice if your child is unable to attend class. Missed class' tuition will be applied towards the next session. Tuition and fees are not refundable.


Please be on time and sign your child in/out at drop-off/pick-up times. We reserve the right to charge a fee for late pick-up. We are not responsible for children left with us after class.


We recommend that students wear aprons or other clothing appropriate for doing art work. Painting is messy!


Scholarships and Discounts

Scholarships for art classes are available. We want to make our program affordable for every child interested in visual arts! To apply for a scholarships, please fill out the registration form below and submit it with a brief note requesting a scholarship. This note should mention the tuition amount you would like to be covered by a scholarship. You will be contacted regarding your request.


MCAM&EC membership privileges include 10% or 15% discount on our edicational programs, including art classes. Become a Member and ask about the discount during registration.

Registration Process

  • Decide on the preferred day and time of your class. The final schedule will be negotiated based on availability.
  • Fill out the attached registration form, email it to or bring it to the art school in person. You may also submit online form at the bottom of the web page.
  • Pay tuition for the first session online or in person on/before the day of the first class.
