Design the logo first!

 
We invite young artists to design our 2018 Contest Logo. It will appear on posters, t-shirts and other promotional material.
 
Rules: Black and white or less than five colors; a circular or an almost square design.
 
Logo Submission Dates: May 1-September 15, 2018

Please include artist's name, age, and city and country of residence.

2018 Art Contest Theme: From Nature to Fantasy

The many ways in which nature feeds our mind and fires up our imagination. From realistic landscapes to alien lifeforms, magical beings, and the technology of tomorrow.

Reception: Saturday, November 17, 3:30-6PM, 44 W Broadway, Eugene, OR

Submission Deadline: September 15, 2018

Event Mission:

Inspire children's interest in the diverse cultures and heritages that surround them; prompt young artists to study the culture of a neighbor or a grandparent and express it in the form of visual art; showcase local talent; make the world smaller and better by bringing international children's art to Eugene.​

 

Submission Rules:

  • The program is open to artists from 3 to 18 years old.
  • All works must be original and created during the years of 2017-2018.
  • Only works that can hang on a wall are accepted. There is no size limit.
  • There is no limit to the number of submissions per artist.
  • Digital images should be more than 1 MB in size.
  • Submission starts: May 1
  • Submission ends: September 15 for mailed works, October 1 for online submissions

 

With each work please include:

  1. Work's title
  2. Artist's name
  3. Artist's age
  4. Artist's city and country of residence
  5. A parent's or art teacher's name and email

 

All works must be signed by the artist on the front of the canvas or on the back (the very young artists may use parents' help).

Non-local artists may enter their work into the on-line contest in electronic format.
